More Than a Business. A Neighbor.
When you’ve spent your entire life in a place, it stops being just where you work. It becomes who you are. The owner of Ensz & Sons Gutters grew up right here in this community. He went to school here, built his career here, and raised his family among the same neighbors he’s served for over 30 years. That kind of rootedness changes how you think about business. It means every home you work on belongs to someone you might see at church, at the grocery store, or on the sidelines of a Friday night football game.
That’s not a marketing point. It’s just the truth of how things are when you’re genuinely local.
Giving back has never been a strategy for this company. It’s been a natural extension of who we are and where we come from.
Putting Hands to Work for Habitat for Humanity
One of the most meaningful things you can do as a tradesperson is use your skills for someone who needs them. That belief led the owner of Ensz & Sons to personally volunteer his time and expertise on a Habitat for Humanity home build right here in our area.
He didn’t send a check. He showed up. He climbed the ladder, ran the gutters, and did the work himself, the same way he would on any paying job. Because the family moving into that home deserved the same quality and care as any other customer.
Habitat for Humanity’s mission is to build safe, affordable housing for families who need it most. A properly installed gutter system is part of that safety. It protects the structure, prevents water damage, and helps ensure the home lasts for decades. Knowing that a family is moving into a home with gutters that will hold up, that’s something worth being part of.
If opportunities arise to contribute again, we’ll be there.
Supporting Our Local Food Bank
Hunger is one of those things that’s easy to overlook when you’re busy, but it’s never far from the surface in any community, including ours. Ensz & Sons Gutters makes regular financial contributions to a local food bank serving families across our area.
It’s not a grand gesture. It’s a consistent one. We believe that businesses doing well in a community have a responsibility to help that community stay strong. The families who benefit from a local food bank are the same families who live on the streets we drive down every day for work. Contributing to their stability is just the right thing to do.
We don’t make a production of it. We just do it.
Community Recognition Built Over Decades
There’s a certain kind of trust that only time can build. After more than 30 years of showing up, doing honest work, and treating people right, the Ensz & Sons name carries real weight in this area. That’s not something the company built through advertising. It was built through relationships, through referrals, through neighbors telling neighbors that this is a company you can count on.
The owner has watched this community grow and change over the decades. He’s seen the same families return again and again, and he’s met their children who are now homeowners themselves. That continuity means something. It’s a reminder that reputation isn’t built in a quarter or a campaign. It’s built one interaction at a time, across years.
Being known and trusted in your own community is something we don’t take for granted.
Why It Matters to Us
At the core of everything Ensz & Sons does is a simple belief: do right by people. That applies on the job site, in a conversation with a customer, and in the broader community we all share. The gutters we install protect people’s homes. The organizations we support protect people’s lives. Both matter. Both are part of the same commitment.
We’re not a large corporation with a corporate social responsibility department. We’re a family business with deep local roots and a genuine desire to see this community thrive. If that means volunteering on a build, writing a check to a food bank, or simply showing up every day with integrity, we’re glad to do all of it.
